  • Ang & Mushe (co-founders) meet in Zambia during Ang’s Fulbright fellowship.
• 2008

  • Ang & Mushe move to Oshkosh, WI.

  • Mushe’s mom, Namakau, passes away in Naloyela Village. When Ang & Mushe return for her funeral, community conversations begin with a focus on the conditions at Kalangu School (Mushe’s former grade school).
  • Mushe & Ang return to Zambia for 3 months to kick-start Kalangu renovations and engage in community consultations
